It wasn’t easy, but Latrobe junior Luke Willochell survived a scare in the WPIAL Class 3A wrestling semifinals Saturday at Canon-McMillan.

The Fox Chapel wrestling team battled some sickness during the section tournament, but that didn’t slow the Foxes from sending a large contingent of wrestlers to the WPIAL Class 3A championships.

Norwin senior Nate Campbell accepted an appointment to the Naval Academy, where he will continue his wrestling career. “I chose Navy because it gives me the best opportunity to be successful in life, as well as a top-notch wrestling culture,” he said.
