Neshannock earns berth to PIAA Class 2A baseball playoffs

Neshannock third baseman Dante DeLillo hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift the Lancers past rival Shenango, 7-3, in a WPIAL Class 2A consolation baseball game Wednesday at Washington & Jefferson's Ross Memorial Park.

DeLillo drove in five runs for Neshannock (19-4). Ryan Perretti hit a home run for Shenango (14-9).

Neshannock will face District 10 champion Rocky Grove in the PIAA Class 2A first round on Monday at a time and site to be determined.
