Vincentian Academy’s Kyler Fedko was named Pennsylvania’s Baseball Player of the Year on Friday by Perfect Game.

The senior shortstop batted .661 with eight home runs, 40 RBIs and 46 runs scored as the Royals won WPIAL and PIAA Class A titles.

Fedko signed with UConn.

Perfect Game is a national scouting website that organizes baseball tournaments and combines for youth baseball.

The website named Jeremiah Jackson of Mobile, Ala., the national player of the year. Jackson, who attended St. Luke’s Episcopal, was a second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Angels earlier this month. The shortstop batted .644 with 15 homers.
