PIAA baseball pairings: 4 WPIAL champions return to Washington

Five days after celebrating WPIAL titles at Wild Things Park, Canon-McMillan and North Hills return Monday to the minor league baseball stadium to start the state playoffs.

The champions of the WPIAL's two largest classifications are scheduled for a PIAA first-round doubleheader at Washington. North Hills faces Red Land at 2 p.m., and Canon-McMillan faces Dallastown at 4 p.m.

In another PIAA doubleheader, WPIAL champions Brownsville and South Fayette will play nearby at Washington & Jefferson's field.

Brownsville plays Mercyhurst Prep at 1 p.m., and South Fayette plays Meadville at 3 p.m.
