2017 WPIAL Football Playoffs: P-R, Gate, TJ, QV, Wash, Jean Win Gold

It took a pair of Championship Saturday’s, but the district football postseason is now in the books. Thomas Jefferson was the only repeat champion from a year ago as the Jaguars claimed a third straight WPIAL championship. The flip side of that was Quaker Valley winning gridiron gold for the first time in school history. The other champs were Pine-Richland for the second time in four years, Gateway for the first time since 1986, Washington for the first time since 2001 and Jeannette lifting a football title for the first time since back-to-back championships in 2006 and 2007. Here are ALL the results from the 2017 WPIAL Football Playoffs.
