Baldwin’s O’Malley, NA’s Burton win 3 events at TSTCA indoor meet

Baldwin’s Brendan O’Malley and North Allegheny’s Casey Burton won three events apiece Saturday at the Tri-State Track Coaches Association indoor meet in Edinboro.
O’Malley, a senior, won the boys 200, 400 and long jump. Burton, a junior, won the girls 60, 200 and long jump.
The meet was the second of the TSTCA indoor season.
The other boys winners from the WPIAL were Latrobe’s Joseph Piper (60), Seneca Valley’s Seth Ketler (Seneca Valley), Seneca Valley’s Sam Owori (mile), Shaler’s Dalton Kalbaugh (3,000), Hempfield’s Jared Bannnon (60 hurdles), Butler’s Sami Taoufik (high jump) and Shaler’s Cam Mbalo (triple jump).
Winning girls events were Upper St. Clair’s Jane Madson (400), Penn Hills’ Miniya Pinnix (800), Mt. Lebanon’s Flynn Begor (60 hurdles), Derry’s Tara Perry (high jump), Hempfield’s Emma Sieg (triple jump) and Hempfield’s Mackenna Orie (shot put).
