High school roundup: California tops Imani Christian in Class A nonconference contest

Jelani Stafford rushed for 236 yards and a touchdown to help No. 5-ranked California to a 41-26 victory over Imani Christian (3-1) in a Class A nonconference game Saturday afternoon in Wilkinsburg.
Zion Aldrich added two touchdowns runs. Cochise Ryan, Colin Philips, and Braden Petrucci also scored for California (4-0).
Summit Academy 44, Cornell 6 — Antonio White scored on a 66-yard pass from Delano Brown, a 67-yard interception return and a 10-yard run as Summit Academy (1-2, 1-2) defeated Cornell (0-3, 0-2) in the Class A Big 7 Conference. Zaier Harrison threw for 185 yards and a 15-yard touchdown pass to Justin Walsh for Cornell's only score.

Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic 7, Riverview 0 — Joe Kearney recorded that hat trick to lead Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic (7-0, 5-0) to the Section 3-A shutout against Riverview (4-2, 4-1). Luc Madonna and Bryce Kopchak added one goal and one assist each while Nick Milas tallied three assists. Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic has outscored its opposition 46-1 this season.
Girls soccer
Knoch 13, Armstrong 1 — Lindsey Santon scored three goals as Knoch (5-1) beat Armstrong (0-4) in nonsection play.
