Highlands hired a Plummer for its girls soccer program.

The district school board voted Monday night to approve Jenna Plummer as the new girls soccer coach, replacing Rick Tamburri.

A Penn Hills graduate, Plummer played soccer and softball for the Indians and did the same in college at West Virginia Wesleyan.

Plummer is Highlands' third girls soccer coach in three years. The Golden Rams finished 1-13-2 and 1-9-2 in Section 2-2A play last season, Tamburri's first, but appeared in the WPIAL semifinals in 2016.
