Meadville tops Norwin in PIHL Peguins Cup 1st round

The Norwin hockey team had its season come to a close Thursday night after a 10-2 loss to Meadville in the first round of the PIHL Class A Penguins Cup playoffs at Meadville Area Recreaction Complex.

Nick Franz scored five goals for Meadville.

Norwin opened a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Meadville (16-3) took over after that.

Logan Connelly scored both goals for the Knights (9-10). Jacob Dally and Mason Pivarnik each had two assists.
