Norwin junior quarterback Jack Salopek is feeling better but plans to see a doctor Monday after suffering a possible concussion in Friday night’s 35-16 loss to Central Catholic at Carnegie Mellon.

Salopek said he was knocked out after absorbing a jarring a hit while running the football early in the third quarter. He left the field under his own power but did not return.

“I actually remember it all,” he said. “I don’t have any memory loss from it.”

Salopek finished 11 of 19 for 196 yards and an 85-yard touchdown pass to Gianni Rizzo in the loss for the Knights (3-4, 2-3 Class 6A Conference).
