Mount Lebanon and Jeannette entered championship weekend searching for more gold. The Blue Devils won WPIAL AAAA crowns in 2009 and 2010 while the Jayhawks captured AA gold last winter. But there would be no repeats in 2011. Shaler knocked out Mount Lebanon to win their second girls title and first in 31 years. Blackhawk won the AAA championship upending section rival Ambridge for the Cougars 5th girls title, Seton-LaSalle crushed Jeannete for the schools third girls hoops crown while ho-hum…North Catholic is on top of the Class A world with their second title in three years, third in five years and record 16th WPIAL championship with a victory over Fort Cherry.

Here are ALL of the final results from every game (all heard here on the MSA Sports Network) in the 2011 WPIAL Girls Basketball Playoffs.
