Whether you are a fan of your local district team or you like to know what’s going on in high school football around Pennsylvania, the TribLive High School Sports Network has you covered this fall. We rank the top WPIAL teams in each class every Sunday and follow up with our PIAA state rankings every Monday during the high school football season.

Once again, all the top seeds held serve with Week 3 victories. There were changes, however, as five teams lost their grip and fell out of the PIAA rankings, including a pair of WPIAL teams.

McKeesport and Steel Valley lost homes games last week and were bounced from the state Top 5. Two district teams join the state rankings for the first time with Shady Side Academy in 2A and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1A now wearing the statewide bullseye.
