Connellsville looks to play spoiler against Franklin Regional

Connellsville has something to prove when they face Franklin Regional on homecoming.

The 2019 football season hasn’t quite gone as planned by the Falcons. They are 1-6 overall, and 0-4 in conference play. Last week, they were off to a hot start against Fox Chapel, leading 10-0, but then lost 35-20. The Falcons rushing game is the key to them winning tonight. Their defense, who has gave up over 100 yards of rushing many times this season, looks to up their game by slowing down Franklin Regional’s run game, which is their game plan. Connellsville will have a little extra hype as it is their homecoming. The Falcons have studied and hope to upset Franklin Regional tonight. Head coach Marko Thomas wants this team to win in the face of the players that quit from last season. Junior runningback Ky’Ron Craggette looks to surpass 1000 rushing yards this season, right now he is about at around 800 yards. As well as Ahmad Hooper who uses his speed to his advantage as well as his catching ability. Also, Junior kicker Gage Gillott nearly nailed a 57-yard Field Goal last week at Fox Chapel, they will need his kicking ability to be able to put them on the board tonight. In my prediction, I feel Connellsville will fall to Franklin Regional. Catch the game tonight at Connellsville Football Stadium in Connellsville, PA @7:00 pm EST.
