Westmoreland County football players to watch for Week 11

Bastien Anderson

Derry, sr., RB/MLB

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound senior likes to be in the middle of the action. He’s one of the leading tacklers on the team. He has one interception and one strip sack for a defense that blanked North Catholic this season. He also has rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Mike Evans

Franklin Regional, sr., WR/DB

The 6-1, 177-pound senior is the Panthers’ leading receiver with 23 catches for 516 and nine touchdowns. Evans caught seven passes for 237 yards and three scores in Friday’s win over Bethel Park. He also plays linebacker on defense.

Kyrie Miller

Ligonier Valley, jr., RB/LB

The 5-8, 180-pound junior owns the school record with 251 yards in a single game. He has rushed for 1,387 yards and 21 touchdowns for the undefeated Rams.

Jackson Pruitt

Jeannette, sr., WR/DB

The 6-1, 178-pound senior has 10 catches for 272 yards and five touchdowns. He also has picked off five passes, blocked a punt, has 24 solo tackles, 22 assists and knocked down two passes for the Jayhawks.
