2 WPIAL girls volleyball players named to All-American watch list

Bishop Canevin’s Kylie Airesman and Freeport’s Sarah Hettich were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association’s 2018 Under Armour All-America watch list.
Airesman, a 5-foot-8 outside hitter, was named to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association’s all-state team as a sophomore and junior. She led Bishop Canevin to the WPIAL Class A title last season.
Hettich, a 6-foot-3 middle blocker, helped Freeport win its first ever PIAA Class AA championship last season. She was named second-team all-section.
