Pine-Richland senior Cole Spencer is the recipient Saturday, April 10, 2021, of the inagural Willie Thrower Memorial Award honoring the top high school quarterback in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The award also honors the legacy and memory of New Kensington native Willie Thrower as the first black quarterback in professional football history.
