2013 MSA Sports Hometown Softball Program Salute – Bethel Park Black Hawks

This is the first year for Bethel Park as part of the MSA Sports Hometown Softball Program. The Black Hawks finished in fourth place in Class AAAA Section 4 last year with a 4-6 record. They finished 10-10 overall. While Bethel Park hasn't made the playoffs since 2009, the 10 wins last season was a big step in the right direction after the Black Hawks won a combined 11 games overall in 2011 and 2010.

Seniors

1^st basemen and Captain – Lexie Parinella-Will continue her education either at Duquesne University or Penn State University. She plans on majoring in Forensics Science. She has a 4.1 GPA, and an active member of National Honors Society.
 

2^nd Basemen and Captain – Jenn Ruminski- Will continue her education at University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Jen also enrolled in the Navy ROTC program through Carnegie Mellon. She has a 4.0 GPA,and is an active member of National Honors Society.
 

3^rd basemen/catcher and Captain – Kaitlyn Campbell will continue to be a student athlete at Allegheny College. She will be majoring in Biology.  Kaitlyn has a 3.85 GPA.
 

Right fielder and Captain – Sammi Wozniak will continue her education at either Robert Morris or California University of PA where she plans on majoring in Marketing.  Sammi has a 3.68 GPA.
