Here’s a look at the TribLive HSSN softball all-stars for the 2025 season.

Terrific 10

Bria Bosiljevac

Shaler, jr., P

Bosiljevac went 13-3 with a 0.90 ERA and pitched Shaler to a WPIAL Class 5A title. The Indiana recruit struck out 191 batters in 101 innings and walked only 14. Opponents batted .093 against her. She threw 11 innings in the WPIAL finals, striking out 17 in a 2-1 win.

Addy Frye

Neshannock, sr., P

Frye capped her high school career with a perfect 23-0 record, a fourth straight WPIAL title and her third state crown. The Providence recruit had a 0.81 ERA with 217 strikeouts in 121 innings. She also batted .547 with 41 RBIs. Her career record was 81-1.

Toryn Fulton

Franklin Regional, sr., SS

Fulton brought speed and power to Franklin Regional’s lineup. The South Florida recruit batted .590 with eight doubles, five triples and eight homers. She also stole 38 bases, drove in 39 runs, scored 37 and posted a 1.981 OPS.

Lexie Hames

Seneca Valley, sr., P

Hames struck out 279 batters this season, finishing her career among the WPIAL all-time leaders with more than 900. The Clemson recruit went 17-3 with a 0.48 ERA in 116 2/3 innings. She was named the Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year in 2024 and ‘25.

Calle Henne

Pine-Richland, sr., C

Coaches voted Henne as the section player of the year in Class 6A. The Pitt recruit batted .583 with 13 home runs among her 35 hits. Henne drove in 35 runs while posting a 2.084 OPS and not striking out all season.

Lauren Howard

Hempfield, jr., 2B

Howard was a key bat high in the order for the WPIAL Class 6A champion. The Virginia recruit batted .614 with nine doubles, six triples and five homers among her 43 hits. She scored 36 runs and drove in 38.

Keara Mangieri

New Castle, sr., SS

Coaches voted her as the section’s top player, even though New Castle narrowly missed the playoffs. She was that good. The Pitt recruit batted .471 with nine doubles and 16 homers, lifting her OPS to 1.864. She drove in 45 runs and scored 36.

Mia Preuhs

Union, sr., P

Preuhs won her third WPIAL Class A title, and this time added a state championship, too. The Canisius recruit went 16-2 with a 0.81 ERA and 229 strikeouts in 112 innings. She also batted .460 with 38 RBIs, 21 runs and nine homers.

Cam Ponko

Penn-Trafford, sr., 3B

Ponko led the PIAA Class 5A champions in extra-base hits (14), total bases (66), home runs (8), RBIs (37) and runs scored (35). The IUP recruit also batted .479 and defensively made only two errors in 81 chances.

Ella Richey

Chartiers-Houston, sr., C

Richey batted .573 with 42 runs, 34 RBIs and had 12 homers among her 26 extra-base hits. Her 43 career home runs are believed to be a state record. The King University recruit helped her team reach the WPIAL Class 2A finals and state semifinals.
