Thompson is a two-way standout for the Vikings, starting at middle linebacker and contributing at running back. He’s a multi-year starter on defense, but this year showed his elusiveness as a runner with a team-high 21 touchdowns. His college offers include Pitt and Penn State.

His last name is recognized by NFL fans. His father, Chris, was a defensive lineman for the Steelers from 2004-11 and works now as an analyst.
