2025 WPIAL playoff picture, clinchings through Week 7

Two weeks remain in the 2025 WPIAL football regular season with most of the district postseason berths and conference crowns still up for grabs.

This is the second year of the new look WPIAL football playoffs where wild card teams have expanded and are no longer figured out by mathematical equations.

The league will select the 16 wild card teams Selection Saturday on Oct. 25.

Here is a look at the teams that have clinched playoff berths and the schedule for teams still alive heading into Week 8.

Conference records are listed next to teams and only remaining conference games are listed.

Class 6A

Top four teams in the seven-team standings qualify for the playoffs.

Central Catholic Vikings, 4-0 (clinched)

Week 8 – at Seneca Valley

Week 9 – at Canon-McMillan

North Allegheny Tigers, 4-1 (clinched)

Week 9 – host Seneca Valley
