Four members of the WPIAL Class 3A field hockey champions were honored by the Pennsylvania High School Field Hockey Coaches Association.
Pine-Richland, which defeated North Allegheny to win the title, had Anna Merlack make the Class 3A second team and three other players — Alyssa Baculik, Kaelin Koehler and Maddy Merlack — earn honorable mention honors.
Ellis School and Peters Township also had girls on the honorable mention lists. Ellis School forward Kate Habershaw was picked in Class A, and Peters Township’s Julia Anderson was chosen in Class 2A.
