4 WPIAL teams advance to PIAA boys volleyball quarterfinals

WPIAL teams went a combined 4-2 in the opening round of the 2025 PIAA boys volleyball playoffs Tuesday.

Both District 7 champions, North Allegheny in 3A and Shaler in 2A, were easy winners and will be joined in the next round by Penn-Trafford in 3A and Ambridge in 2A.

The season is over for both Seneca Valley and South Fayette.

Here are the sites and times for Saturday’s PIAA boys volleyball quarterfinals, along with all the first round match results from the state playoffs.

The Ambridge vs. Meadville match site and time on Saturday is to be determined.
