49 players chosen for girls soccer coaches association all-star games

Forty-nine senior girls from the WPIAL will converge on the AHN Sports Complex at Cool Springs in Bethel Park Saturday for the Western Pennsylvania High School Girls Soccer Coaches Association all-star games.

There will be three teams that will play three games in a round-robin format.

The opening game begins at 1 p.m.

Coaches are Blair Gerlach of Mars, Josh Pajak of Southmoreland, Tyler Hamstra of Bentworth, Pat Vereb of Peters Township and Mt. Pleasant assistant Jessica Garland.

Admission is free and organizers expect more than a dozen college coaches to be in attendance.
