5 WPIAL teams move on to PIAA girls volleyball semifinals

With two rounds in the books and two rounds to go, five WPIAL teams are headed to the semifinals in the 2024 PIAA girls volleyball playoffs.

The district will have one team in at least two of the state championship matches with head-to-head contests coming up in Class 3A and Class A.

North Allegheny is still alive for an eighth consecutive 4A title, while Mars and Beaver in 3A and Greensburg Central Catholic and Frazier in Class A prepare to meet in WPIAL title game rematches.

Here are the sites and times for Tuesday’s state final four matches, along with the quarterfinals and first round results from the PIAA girls volleyball playoffs.

North Allegheny (19-1) vs. Landisville Hempfield (20-0) at Altoona at 5:30 p.m.
