Every Tuesday during the 2018 WPIAL football season, the TribLive High School Sports Network will release its weekly Power Rankings. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.

There was another big shake up in the next-to-last power rankings of the season as nearly half of the ranked teams saw their seasons come to an end this past weekend.

It has been a rough two weeks for undefeated teams in the district. Last week, it was North Allegheny, Shady Side Academy, Burgettstown and Jeannette losing for the first time. This past weekend, Gateway and Thomas Jefferson saw their seasons end with one loss and no WPIAL gold.

There are two more district title games coming up this weekend as Class 5A and 2A will crown new champions.

This week, we rank the eight remaining district football teams. On the final rankings next week, we will rank the six WPIAL champions.

Here are the rankings heading into Week 13.
