Trib HSSN lacrosse power rankings: For games ending May 18, 2019

The district playoffs are at the midway point with two rounds in the books and two more remaining heading into this week’s Trib HSSN weekly Power Rankings for boys and girls lacrosse.

The girls lacrosse semifinals are set for Monday with the finals Thursday. On the boys side, the semifinals are Tuesday with the finals Friday. All four championship matches from Robert Morris will be video streamed on Trib HSSN.

Some of the changes in this week’s rankings included:

Boys: Freeport reached the WPIAL AA semifinals and earns a spot in the rankings. Even though their seasons are over, Fox Chapel and Seneca Valley finish in the top 10.

Girls: Seton LaSalle reached the AA semifinals and earns a spot in the rankings. Even though their seasons are over, Fox Chapel and Sewickley Academy finish in the top 10.

Here are the rankings for the week ending Saturday with overall records and last week’s rankings included. These rankings have no classification boundaries.
