There were very few changes to the Trib HSSN state rankings coming out of Week Zero.

Only three of the 30 ranked teams were bounced from the PIAA top five.

Penn Hills in Class 5A, Bishop McDevitt in 4A and Lackawanna Trail in A are all out, replaced by Peters Township, Valley View and Jeannette.

Four of the preseason top-ranked teams were victorious while St. Joe’s Prep did not play.

Farrell was upset in Week Zero, but remains No. 1 in Class A heading into a top five battle against Class 2A No. 5 Wilmington.
