Ellwood City’s nail biter upset over Aliquippa

As part of the team we had no intentions of thinking we would win this game. But during warmups something clicked. All of a sudden for that rough hour and a half we were unbeatable. We played our best basketball all year as a team. Junior Ryan gibbons sunk the game winning free throw With 8 seconds left to pull of the road win. After the upset win, it was almost like they rolled out the red carpet for us. Coach Antuono said something that will stick with me the rest of my life “you’ll never forget this night as long as you live.” All eyes were on Ellwood City at that point.
