Westmoreland County football players to watch in 2023 Week 4

Player of the week

Payton Molter

Jeannette, Sr., QB/LB

The 6-foot, 180-pound senior had quite a game against Frazier in the WPIAL Class A Eastern Conference opener Friday. Molter was 9-for-9 passing for 158 yards and three touchdowns, including two scores to Jeremiah Williamson. He also returned a fumble 43 yards for a score. The other touchdown pass went to Kymon’e Brown.

Players to watch

Paul Darragh

Penn-Trafford, Sr., H-back/LB

The 6-foot, 190-pound senior has made 28 tackles in four games this season for the Warriors. He also has two catches for 8 yards.

Maxx Oberley

Ligonier Valley, Jr., LB

The 5-8, 163-pound junior has been in on 24 tackles, 19 solo, forced a fumble and has broken up three passes for the Rams. He has one carry for 10 yards.

Damauri Robinson

Derry, Jr., WR/DB

The 6-foot, 175-pound junior leads the Trojans with nine catches for 196 yards and one touchdown. He has carried the ball 11 times for 74 yards and a score.
