WPIAL Class 3A football roundup: Eric Doerue, South Park take down No. 5 Seton LaSalle

Eric Doerue ran for 185 yards and two touchdowns and Parker Cunningham had two interceptions to set up touchdowns as South Park scored a 35-28 victory over No. 5 Seton LaSalle (4-2, 2-1) in the Class 3A Western Hills Conference on Friday night.

Zach Ludwig threw for 106 yards and three touchdowns for South Park (4-2, 1-2).

Khalil Taylor caught six passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns and returned a kickoff 88 yards for another score for Seton LaSalle.

East Allegheny 42, Valley 12 — In the Allegheny 6 Conference, Michael Cahill threw for 176 yards and two touchdowns as East Allegheny (4-2, 1-0) defeated Valley (2-4, 0-1). Amir Rollins ran for 155 yards and two touchdowns for East Allegheny. Darnell Coaston and Trevor Colbert ran for touchdowns for Valley.

Quaker Valley 38, Hopewell 30 — In the Western Hills Conference, Jack Diemert ran for 141 yards and a touchdown and scored on an 11-yard interception return as Quaker Valley (1-5, 1-1) defeated Hopewell (1-5, 0-3). Jacob Brunton rushed for 129 yards for Hopewell.

Beaver 56, Brentwood 20 — Brady Mayo ran for two touchdowns and returned an interception 55 yards for another TD as Class 3A Beaver (5-1) defeated Class 2A Brentwood (0-6). Quay Cain threw for 108 yards and a touchdown and ran for a 65-yard TD for Beaver, which led at halftime, 49-6. Cedric Davis threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns for Brentwood.
