Following a week of major shuffling among the top WPIAL football teams, including a change at No. 1 after Week 5, things settled down with only one change near the bottom of the Trib 10 this week.

Nine of the 10 teams in last week’s power rankings were victorious with only Mt. Lebanon at No. 9 losing and dropping from the Trib 10.

That opens the door for undefeated Elizabeth Forward to enter the district power rankings, becoming the third team from Class 3A among the elite 10.

After replacing North Allegheny at the top last week, Central Catholic is entrenched at No. 1 and could be there for a while after crushing a good Canon-McMillan team in Week 5.

For the second straight week, there are no head-to-head matchups between Trib 10 teams in Week 6.

Here are the latest Trib 10 power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
