Robert Thomas scored 28 points as Penn Hills defeated Greensburg Central Catholic, 58-55, at the Coach Paul Sapotichne Holiday Classic at Greensburg Salem to give coach Chris Giles his 100th career victory.
Kahlil Wall added 17 for Penn Hills (5-1). Tyree Turner scored 20 and Brady O’Rourke added 11 for Greensburg Central Catholic (9-2).
Plum 66, Brentwood 57 – Will Beckner buried eight 3-pointers and finished with 28 points to lead Plum (4-4) to a victory in a tournament hosted by the Mustangs, giving coach Justin Walther 100 career wins. Max Grice scored 15 points and Owen Proskin followed with 11 for Plum. Zach Wuenschell had 17 points and Forrest Betz added 11 for Brentwood (2-8).
Mt. Lebanon 69, Bishop Snyder (FL) 49 – Riley Farabaugh made four 3-pointers and finished with 17 points as Mt. Lebanon (8-0) beat Bishop Snyder in the Sunshine State Explosion. Brody Barber scored 15 points while Sam Deibert added 14 and Nate Girod made four 3s for 12 points for the Blue Devils. The win was coach Joe David’s 400th career victory.
Abington Heights 61, Aliquippa 50 – Jordan Shaffer scored 18 points to lead Abington Heights to a win at the CV Roundball Holiday Classic. Quentin Goode scored 23 and Cameron Lindsey added 14 for Aliquippa (5-1).
Apollo-Ridge 61, Leechburg 54 – Karter Schrock had 25 points as Apollo-Ridge (1-9) defeated Leechburg (2-7) in the Apollo Trust Company Tournament. Brady Rollinger and Jayden Floyd scored 22 points apiece for Leechburg.
Aquinas Academy 56, Trinity Christian 20 – Jake Guillen produced 20 points and Sam Duer scored 10 to lead Aquinas Academy (6-1) to a win over Trinity Christian (1-4) in the tournament hosted by the Crusaders.
Armstrong 60, Hereford (Md.) 24 – Jack Valasek led all scorers with 18 points as Armstrong (7-3) rolled to a win over Hereford in the Snowball Tournament at Southern Garrett (Md.).
Avella 58, South Side 57 – Westley Burchianti produced a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead Avella (5-3) in a tournament hosted by the Eagles. Cain Allen scored 12 points and Nate Cilia added 11 for Avella. Andrew Cofield had 17 points, Carter Wilson followed with 14 and Brody Almashy finished with 13 for South Side (3-5).
Avonworth 44, State College 42 – Rowan Carmichael sank four 3-pointers and put up 26 points to boost Avonworth (6-2) past State College in the tournament hosted by the Little Lions.
Baldwin 74, Allderdice 63 – Nathan Richards scored 20 points to lead Baldwin (6-2) to a win at the Peter Sauer Memorial Tournament at Shady Side Academy. Max Mazina and Matthew Schenk added 14 and Caden Cherico had 12. Major Rainey led Allderdice (5-2) with 21 points. Azerick Jetter added 13 and Ma’ayan Kohai had 12.
Belle Vernon 65, South Park 46 – Zion Moore went off for 40 points, hitting six 3-pointers, to lead Belle Vernon (4-1) at the Charleroi tournament. Curtis Wade added 11. Luke Scarff led South Park (4-4) with 19 points.
Beth-Center 56, Carmichaels 39 – Brody Tharp and Jason Zellie each scored 15 points and Santino Revi produced 10 to lead Beth-Center (2-6) to a victory in the Carmichaels Lions Club tournament. Dominic Colarusso led Carmichaels (3-6) with 14 points.
Bishop Canevin 61, Quaker Valley 57 – Jackson Maddix sank four 3-pointers and had 15 points, Michael Vaughn added 11 and Jason Cross produced 10 for Bishop Canevin (2-5) in a win at the Montour Tournament. Joseph Coyle made four 3s and finished with 22 points while Zachary Washington had 14 points for Quaker Valley (5-3).
Bishop Carroll 83, Ligonier Valley 67 – Luke Repko put up 23 points, Jace Casses dropped 20, Max Oravec added 17 and Parker Alexander followed with 16 as Bishop Carroll defeated Ligonier Valley (2-7) in the Westmont Hilltop Tournament. Parker Hollick led all scorers with 28 points for the Rams.
Butler 73, Bishop Guilfoyle 64 – Braylon Littlejohn scored 30 points to lead Butler (6-1) to victory at the North Allegheny Holiday Bash.
Carrick 48, Bentworth 38 – Ray Saunders scored 19 points and Kelenn Ward had 11 for Carrick (3-5) in a consolation game win at the Bentworth Tournament. Christopher Harper made four 3-pointers and finished with 19 points and Ben Hays added 14 for the Bearcats (1-7).
Central Catholic 53, Council Rock South 41 – Bradley Gompers had 29 points and Central Catholic (3-3) earned a win at the Boardwalk Classic in New Jersey.
Central Valley 65, Beaver Falls 37 – Isaiah Jeter scored 17 points, Mikel Anderson added 15 and Cameron DeVincentis finished with 13 as Central Valley (5-2) beat Beaver Falls (2-4) in the CV Roundball Holiday Classic. Marshall Clerici put up 16 points for the Tigers.
Charleroi 60, Frazier 48 – Jackson Karenko dropped 20 points, Bryce Large followed with 19 and Joel Chambers finished with 11 to lead Charleroi (4-5) to a victory in the Cougars’ holiday tournament. Brennan Stewart scored 10 points to pace Frazier (5-4).
Chartiers Valley 64, Woodland Hills 48 – Jayden Davis hit for 23 points and Julian Semplice and TJ Kubiscek each added 12 for Chartiers Valley (5-4) at the CV Roundball Holiday Classic. Scoop Smith scored 23 for Woodland Hills (3-6).
Chartiers-Houston 60, Western Beaver 39 – Avery Molek scored 20 points and Justus Buckingham followed with 15 as Chartiers-Houston (7-1) beat Western Beaver (1-8) in the Avella tournament. Nathan Schwarz drained four 3s and finished with 14 points for the Golden Beavers.
Clairton 81, Geibel 29 – Taris Wooding scored 19 points and Michael Ruffin produced 10 as Clairton (5-5) rolled to a win in the South Allegheny tournament. Gary Tarbuk had 13 points to lead Geibel (0-8).
Connellsville 55, Mt. Pleasant 51 – Jayden Mickens and Jahvon McBride scored 13 points and Kace Shearer added 12 as Connellsville (1-9) snapped a 42-game losing streak with a win at the Greensburg Salem tournament. Dante Giallonardo scored 25 for Mt. Pleasant (2-7).
Elizabeth Forward 63, South Allegheny 61 – Isaiah Turner led all scorers with 20 points, Charlie Meelieb had 14 and Cy Herchelroath added 11 for Elizabeth Forward (7-1) in the South Allegheny tournament. Drew Cook (15), Jeston Beatty (14), Cam Epps (13) and Josh Jackowski (10) all scored in double figures for the Tigers (7-1).
Ellwood City 62, Maplewood 22 – Colten Crizer scored 13 points and Ellwood City (5-5) cruised to a win at the Mercer tournament. Joe Roth and Ryan Widmaier added 12 points apiece for the Wolverines.
Floyd Central (KY) 75, Seton La Salle 67 – Ronnie Simmons of Floyd Central led all scorers with 23 points as the Jaguars defeated Seton La Salle in the Mountain Boy Classic in Belfry, Ky. Patrick Weldon scored 18 points for Seton La Salle.
Fort Cherry 84, Propel Montour 21 – Shane Cornali scored 20 points to lead Fort Cherry (4-2) at the Avella tournament. Derek Errett had 12 and Matt Sieg and Blake Sweder added 10 each. John Anderson led Propel Montour (1-7) with 12 points.
Franklin (MA) 64, Seneca Valley 34 – Sean O’Leary scored 15 points to lead Franklin (Mass.) to a win at the KSA Holiday Tournament in Kissimmee, Fla. Kai West led Seneca Valley (3-7) with 12 points.
Franklin Regional 61, North Allegheny 53 – Cooper Rankin had 22 points and Cam Rowell scored 19 to help Franklin Regional (7-1) score a win at the North Allegheny Holiday Bash. Joey Dopirak poured in 38 points for the host Tigers (3-7).
Grayson (GA) 86, Imani Christian 69 – Gicarri Harris scored 26 points and Amir Taylor added 20 as Grayson (Ga.) won at the Chick-fil-A Classic in South Carolina. Avery Wesley scored 20 points and Nate Brazil added 18 for Imani Christian (2-0).
Hampton 51, Grove City 34 – Liam Mignogna scored 15 points for the Talbots as Hampton (7-2) defeated Grove City (3-6) in the Hampton Holiday Hoops Tournament. Alex Nyilas and Robert Coll had 14 and 13 points respectively for Hampton. Bretty Loughry had 12 points for Grove City.
Hempfield 65, Greensburg Salem 52 – Max Williams scored 22 points and Daniel Husenits added 17 to help Hempfield (3-7) to a win at the Coach Paul Sapotichne Holiday Classic at Greensburg Salem. Ryan Burkart scored 19 and AJ Tarpley added 12 for the host Golden Lions (2-8).
Hopewell 64, Wilmington 24 – Zach Kovell scored 15 points and Aaron Dickhart and Zach Gigliotti added 11 points apiece as Hopewell (6-2) won at the Laurel tournament.
Jefferson-Morgan 47, Mapletown 24 – Jase Bedillion scored 13 points and Dayten Marion added 12 as Jefferson-Morgan (7-3) defeated Mapletown (1-6) in the championship game of the Carmichaels Lions Club Tournament.
Kiski Area 53, Neighborhood Academy 45 – Isaiah Gonzalez put up 22 points and Terry Martin chipped in with 10 for Kiski Area (7-1) in the Peter Sauer Memorial Tournament at Shady Side Academy. Courtney Wallace had 14 points for Neighborhood Academy (6-2).
Knoch 60, Steel Valley 24 – Derek Lang (14), Teegan Finucan (13) and Jackson Bauman (12) scored in double figures for Knoch (5-2) in a win at the Deer Lakes tournament. Nate Yuhas scored 10 for Steel Valley (0-10).
Mars 71, Pensacola Catholic (Fla.) 34 – Ryan Ceh drained five 3-pointers and finished with 33 points while Drew Navetta added 11 for Mars (4-4) in a win in the Pensacola Beach tournament.
McGuffey 49, Burgettstown 40 (OT) – Ayden Cunningham led all scorers with 23 points and Grayson Wallace added 17 as McGuffey (5-3) handed Burgettstown (8-1) its first loss of the season in the Avella tournament. Zack Schrockman finished with 17 points for the Blue Devils.
Monessen 73, Winchester Thurston 59 – Lorenzo Gardner had a game-high 21 points to lead four players in double figures for Monessen (6-1) at the tournament hosted by the Greyhounds. Devontae Robinson scored 18, Rodney Johnson 16 and TyVaughn Kershaw 12. Henry McComb scored 12 and Anthony Pipkin 11 for Winchester Thurston (4-4).
Montour 50, West Allegheny 41 – Jake Wolfe, Kaleb Platz and Ama Sow each scored 10 points for Montour (5-1) in the Spartans’ holiday tournament. Brandon Bell scored 10 points as West Allegheny (8-1) suffered its first loss of the season.
Moon 54, James Madison (VA) 51 – Aiden Reesman had 22 points and Moon (6-2) edged James Madison at the Pensacola Beach tournament in Florida.
Neshannock 62, Union 46 – L.J. Keith dropped 20 points, Talan Anderton added 11 and David Kwiat finished with 10 as Neshannock (9-1) defeated Union (3-6) in a tournament hosted by the Lancers. Rocco Galmarini scored 14 points and Braylon Thomas had 10 for the Scotties.
North Hills 60, Altoona 41 – North Hills (4-4) made 14 3-pointers to cruise past Altoona in the Hampton tournament. Nathan Schanbacher made three 3s and finished with 17 points, Eric James had 13 points while Jackson Long and Logan Johnson each sank three 3-pointers and had 11 points for the Indians.
Northgate 85, Brashear 46 – Northgate (5-2) got 18 points from Josh Williams, 16 from Tylan Daniels and Landon Lockett finished with 10 in a win at a tournament hosted by the Flames. Titus Gillett scored a game-high 29 points to lead Brashear (3-6).
Norwin 51, Keystone Oaks 24 – Mario Csukas scored 10 points to lead Norwin (5-3) past Keystone Oaks (2-6) at the South Allegheny tournament. The Knights led 15-0 after the first quarter.
Peters Township 80, Beaver 61 – Dylan Donovan scored 20 points to lead four players in double figures for Peters Township (6-2) at the Peters Township/Upper St. Clair tournament. Jack Dunbar added 14, Sean Thelk had 11 and Mickey Vaccarello finished with 10. Brady Mayo led Beaver (4-5) with 29 points. Nick Krzeczowski added 14 and Ty Butler had 10.
Pine-Richland 70, Mohawk 65 – Elijah Wentz was one of five players for Pine-Richland (3-4) in double figures at the CV Roundball Holiday Classic. He was joined by Grant Spacciapolli (13), Carson Baer (12), Emery Moye (12) and Zach Kenny (11). Bobby Fadden led Mohawk (3-5) with 28 points. Keigan Hopper had 13, Jay Wrona 11 and JJ Nail 10.
Ringgold 59, California 39 – Daryl Tolliver dropped 19 points, Aidan Angotti added 12 and Szyair Dungee had 10 in a win for Ringgold (3-6) in the Charleroi tournament. Caden Monticelli led California (0-8) with 12 points.
Riverside 40, Laurel 30 – Drake Fox put up 17 points to pace Riverside (3-6) in a win over Laurel (1-5) in a tournament hosted by the Spartans.
Riverview 52, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart 41 – Jack Loughren and Alex Schultheis scored 14 points each for Riverview (4-4) in a victory at the Plum tournament. Nate Sprajcar added 12 for the Raiders. Jake Johnson had a game-high 15 for the Chargers (5-2).
Shady Side Academy 63, Fox Chapel 55 – Eli Teslovich put up 20 points, Seamus Riordan added 14, Cam Mallory finished with 12 and Ryan Froelich followed with 11 as the host Bulldogs (4-4) beat Fox Chapel (4-6) in the Peter Sauer Memorial Tournament at Shady Side Academy. Jefferson Moorefield-Brown scored 20 points, Asher White made four 3s and had 14 points while Will Siegel had 11 for the Foxes.
Shaler 65, Notre Dame Green Pond 42 – Brandon London scored 18 points and Joey Miller finished with 16 to lead Shaler (9-0) at the State College tournament. Julian Vizzoca added 11 for the Titans.
Shenango 61, Eden Christian 46 – Brody McQuiston put up 23 points and Joey Campoli added 16 to lead Shenango (5-2) to a victory in the Laurel tournament. Jimmy Roe added 12 points for the Wildcats. Brady Hull paced Eden Christian (2-6) with 10 points.
South Fayette 49, Johnstown 41 – Gavin Orosz had 14 points and Michael Plasko scored 12 for South Fayette (4-3) in a victory in the CV Roundball Holiday Classic.
Southmoreland 60, East Allegheny 42 – Ty Keffer scored 18 points and Noah Felentzer finished with 12 to power Southmoreland (9-0) at the Charleroi tournament. Troy Anderson scored 14 and Max Schwer had 13 for East Allegheny (3-6).
Springdale 73, Pittsburgh Christian Academy 33 – John Hughes eclipsed 1,000 points for his career, scoring 18 for Springdale (8-1) in a win at the Aquinas Academy tournament. Mason Gent added 15, Chase Weihrauch scored 14 and Robby Simmen finished with 12 for the Dynamos.
Trinity 52, Canon-McMillan 45 – Kaden Hathaway scored 17 points and Dante DeRubbo and Jacob Dunkle each chipped in 10 to lead Trinity (5-4) in the championship game of the tournament hosted by the Hillers. Evan Morris scored 19 and Eamon O’Donoghue added 12 for Canon-McMillan (5-5).
Uniontown 74, Downingtown West 50 – Jamire Braxton led four Uniontown players in double figures with 26 in a win at the CV Roundball Holiday Classic. Calvin Winfrey scored 19, Notorious Grooms had 11 and Isaac Ellsworth finished with 10 for the Red Raiders (8-0).
Washington 76, Propel Braddock Hills 27 – Ruben Gordon scored 22 points and Travis Crutcher and Braiden Wise added 10 each as Washington (4-5) defeated Propel Braddock Hills (3-6) at the Monessen tournament.
Yough 64, Jeannette 62 – Terek Crosby scored 28 points and Austin Matthews added 18 to lead Yough (6-3) at the Greensburg Salem tournament. Zander Aird chipped in 12. Markus McGowan led Jeannette (7-3) with 25. Isaiah Mallich added 17 and Kymone Brown had 13.

Albert Gallatin 45, Bridgeport (WV) 29 – Grayce Panos scored 18 points and Mya Glisan contributed 13 for Albert Gallatin (2-6) at the Laurel Highlands tournament. Jaylin Dodd scored 12 for Bridgeport.
Altoona 55, Butler 44 – Jaiden Krull scored 19 points to lead Altoona at the Butler tournament. Amelia McMichael scored 15 points and Avery Maier added 13 for the Golden Tornado (2-6).
Aquinas Academy 51, Belle Vernon 15 – Emily Fisher had 12 points and Tess Duer scored 10 to lead Aquinas Academy (9-1) past Belle Vernon (4-5) at the Cal (Pa.) Hoopfest.

Beth-Center 59, Charleroi 48 – Emma Shashura scored 22 points to power Beth-Center (4-4) at the Laurel Highlands tournament. Kyleigh McDaniel added 11 and Lauren Brown 10. Bella Carrotto led Charleroi (4-2) with 24 points. Riley Jones had 11.
Big Walnut (OH) 57, Waynesburg 15 – Remy Largent scored 19 points to lead Big Walnut (OH) at the KSA tournament at Kissimmee, Fla. Kaley Rohanna led Waynesburg (8-1) with seven points.

Blackhawk 59, New Castle 15 – Led by 16 points from Alena Fusetti, 12 from Aubree Hupp and 11 from Andrea Kinger, Blackhawk (7-2) won at the tournament hosted by the Cougars. Rihanna Boice led New Castle (1-9) with seven points.
Canon McMillan 57, Franklin Regional 54 – Madison Clair had 21 points and Nadia Davis netted 15 to push Canon-McMillan (7-3) past Franklin Regional (1-8) at Cal (Pa.) Hoopfest. Addison Musto had 15 points on five 3-pointers, Madi DeRiggi scored 12, and Olivia Orndoff added 11 for the Panthers.
Carrick 26, Neighborhood Academy 13 – Roana Grant scored 11 points to lead Carrick (3-4) in the consolation game at the Neighborhood Academy tournament. Aamira Abdul-Waalee scored eight for Neighborhood Academy (0-4).
Deer Lakes 51, Carlynton 18 – Nina Tristani led Deer Lakes (4-4) with 11 points as the Lancers defeated Carlynton (3-6) in a nonsection matchup. Layne Loper also had 10 points for Deer Lakes, and Lucy Vetter scored 14 points for Carlynton.
Elizabeth Forward 70, Seton LaSalle 55 – Alyssa Terza scored 20 points to lead four scorers in double figures for host Elizabeth Forward (6-2) in the championship game of the Betsy Invitational. Michelle Jellison had 17, Kaelynn Settles 13 and Chloe Zombek 11. Seton LaSalle (6-3) also had four players in double figures: Mallory Daly (18), Addie Lonergan (14), Toni Martin (12) and Tiara Curry (11).
Ellwood City 67, Shenango 27 – Claire Noble scored 20 points to lead Ellwood City (7-3) to a win in the championship game of the Shenango tournament. Delaney Sturgeon added 15, Caitlin Kreitzer 13 and Kayla Jones 11. Ella Ferrell led the host Wildcats (1-6) with 11 points.
Freedom 60, Burgettstown 37 – Shaye Bailey finished with 28 points and Olivia Henderson added 14 for Freedom (4-5) in the consolation game at the Burgettstown tournament. Kaitlyn Nease led the host Blue Devils (4-7) with 13 points.
Geibel 52, Sto-Rox 29 – Emma Larkin scored 29 points and Ava Henderson added 13 as Geibel (6-2) won the championship game of the Neighborhood Academy tournament. Arianna Johnston led Sto-Rox (4-5) with nine points.
Greensburg Salem 48, Mt. Pleasant 36 – Kaitlyn Mankins scored 15 points and Ashlyn Price added 12 to lead Greensburg Salem (9-1) to victory in a tournament hosted by the Vikings. Riley Gesinski put up 14 points and Kayla Rumbaugh finished with 11 for Mt. Pleasant (7-3).
Grove City 60, Laurel 43 – Maddie Osborn and Izzie Gamble scored 22 points apiece to help Grove City down tournament host Laurel (2-6). Shyan Tindall had 18 points on six 3-pointers for the Spartans.
Hampton 59, Olympian (CA) 49 – Meghan Murray scored a career high 34 points to spearhead a victory for Hampton (4-5) in the Gold Crown Tournament in San Diego.
Hempfield 59, Plum 45 – Ashley Hosni scored 19 points for the Spartans as Hempfield (6-2) defeated Plum (6-2) at the Latrobe Christmas tournament. Gabby Coccia had 14 points for Hempfield. Megan Marston was the leading Plum scorer with 24 points followed by Pascale Olczak with 14.
Hopewell 41, Eden Christian 36 – Caylee Sundy scored 12 points to lead Hopewell (5-4) at the Laurel tournament. Hope Haring scored 15 for Eden Christian (4-5).
Indiana 48, Latrobe 40 – Bella Antonacci scored 17 points, Cassie Boyer chipped in with 12 and Addy Hutton had 10 to lead Indiana (7-1) past Latrobe (2-6) in a tournament hosted by the Wildcats. Carley Berk made four 3-pointers and had 14 points and Elle Snyder finished with 13 points and sank three 3-pointers for the Wildcats.
Jeannette 52, Hundred (WV) 31 – Adriana Allison scored 16 points, Navarah Smith added 14 and Mary Jones had 13 to lead Jeannette (4-3) to a win at the Mapletown tournament.
Keystone Oaks 63, Chartiers-Houston 35 – Bailey Rieg led all scorers with 18 points while Lainey Wagner and Hannah York scored 14 points apiece for Keystone Oaks (8-1) in a victory in the Burgettstown tournament championship game. Allison Wingard scored 12 points for Chartiers-Houston (5-3).
Laurel Highlands 54, Washington 16 – Ayrianna Sumpter and Miya Harris scored 12 points apiece and Taylor Irwin added 10 for Laurel Highlands (8-0) in a win over Washington (2-4) at the tournament hosted by the Mustangs.
Lincoln Park 80, Wilmington 52 – J’La Kizart hit for 39 points and Maddie Skye added 21 as Lincoln Park (9-0) rolled to a win at the Mohawk tournament. Abby Januzzi had 12. Lia Krarup led Wilmington with 20 points.
McGuffey 53, Fort Cherry 43 – Taylor Schumacher scored 16 points and Lexi Ewig and Libby Mallah added 11 each for McGuffey (9-0) in the championship game of the McGuffey tournament. Olivia Kemp scored 14 and Raney Staub added 13 for Fort Cherry (5-3).
McKeesport 55, Pine-Richland 43 – Madison Hertzler had 17 points to lead three McKeesport players in double figures in a victory over tournament host Pine-Richland (0-6). Brooke Evans added 16 points for the Tigers (6-1) and Madeline Cherepko scored 12. Madison Zavasky led the Rams with 16 and Cate Gentile finished with 12.
Moon 60, Rochester 39 – Leiana Rucker scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Moon (6-1) in a win over Rochester (4-4) at the CV Holiday Classic. Jaedin Griggs added 13 points for the Tigers and Jayla Brown netted 12.
Mt. Lebanon 63, McDowell 44 – Payton Collins and Riley Collins each scored 16 points to lead Mt. Lebanon (4-4) at the Pine-Richland tournament. Mickalea Bennett scored 19 for McDowell.
Oakland Catholic 60, Penn Charter 44 – London Creech led the way with 23 points as Oakland Catholic (8-0) picked up a win at the Governor’s Challenge in Maryland. Mia LeDonne scored 14 and Kaylee Deangelo had 13 and hit a trio of 3-pointers for the Eagles.
OLSH 70, Rockwood 24 – At the Cal (Pa.) Hoopfest, Claudio Ierullo scored 17 points, Morgan O’Brien added 14 and Lola Gardner chipped in 10 in a win for OLSH (7-2). Mollie Wheatley scored nine for Rockwood.
Peters Township 64, Livingston Academy (TN) 41 – Gemma Walker had 17 points, Natalie Wetzel scored 16 and Bri Morreale netted 15 in a win for Peters Township (8-0) at the Carolina Invitational.
Ringgold 61, Propel Montour 30 – Led by 16 points from Alexa Jolly, 14 from Jada Gernot and 11 from Naomi McNary, Ringgold (3-6) defeated Propel Montour (2-8) in the consolation game of the Bentworth tournament.
River Valley 62, Derry 18 – Ava Persichetti scored 16 points to lead River Valley to a win at the the Apollo Trust Company Tournament. Alessia Lamentia added 14 and Rylee Kitner 13. Jane Huss led Derry (3-6) with seven points.
Seneca Valley 41, Kiski Area 34 – Abbie Johns scored 14 points as Kiski Area (3-6) lost to Seneca Valley (6-2) at the Peter Sauer Memorial Tournament at Shady Side Academy.
Shaler 46, North Schuylkill 28 – Led by 17 points from Reese Smetanka, 12 from Hilary Quinn and 11 from Bayleigh Perez, Shaler (4-5) won at the State College tournament. Olivia Burke led North Schuylkill with nine points.
South Fayette 40, Olentangy Liberty (OH) 39 – Erica Hall had 11 points to help South Fayette (4-2) secure a win at the Carolina Invitational.
South Side 59, Bentworth 27 – Bailey Strinisa scored 33 points to push South Side (6-5) past tournament host Bentworth (3-7) in the championship game. Strinisa was named tournament MVP. Amber Sallee scored seven for the Bearcats.
Springdale 33, Jefferson-Morgan 24 – Ashlyn Ferderbar scored 16 points to power Springdale (3-6) at the Carmichaels Lions tournament. Kayla Larkin scored 12 for Jefferson-Morgan (2-8).
Thomas Jefferson 47, Bethel Park 44 – Riley McCabe scored 13 points and Emily Hritz added 10 to propel Thomas Jefferson (4-5) past Bethel Park (3-7) in the Cal (Pa.) Hoopfest. Ella Sabatos led all scorers with 18 points and Sadie Orie had 11 for the Black Hawks.
