Iyanna Wade poured in 56 points, hitting six 3-pointers, to power Clairton to a 73-55 victory over Winchester Thurston in Section 3-2A girls basketball Thurday night.

The Bears (11-2, 4-2) led by seven at halftime and pulled away with a 23-point third quarter. Jasmine Hollins scored 15, Alexis Bansah added 12 and Aleah Cooper added 11 for Winchester Thurston (6-8, 3-3).

Upper St. Clair 42, Baldwin 32 – Olivia Terlecki led all scorers with 15 points and Ryan Prunzik added 10 to lead Upper St. Clair (9-8, 3-4) to a Section 2-6A win. Mary Vargo led Baldwin (8-8, 1-6) with nine points.

Aquinas Academy 64, Apollo-Ridge 35 – Emily Fisher scored 19 points, Violet Johnson followed with 13 and Ellie Junker added 12 to lead Aquinas Academy (14-2) to a nonsection win. Sophie Yard led Apollo-Ridge (6-10) with 17 points.

Armstrong 40, 40, Shaler 37 – Emma Paul scored 19 points to push Armstrong (11-4, 5-2) to a Section 2-5A win. Bayleigh Perez scored 21 points for Shaler (5-11, 2-5).

Avella 49, Jefferson-Morgan 45 – Ava Frank scored 35 points to push Avella (3-12, 1-4) to a Section 2-A win. Leighana Gooden scored 15 points and Brookann Maddich had 14 for Jefferson-Morgan (2-13, 0-5).

Beth-Center 52, Frazier 35 – Emma Shashura scored 25 points to lead Beth-Center (7-7, 4-3) to a Section 4-2A win. Allie Yauch scored 11 points for Frazier (5-10, 2-5).

Burgettstown 61, Sto-Rox 22 – Kaitlyn Nease led Burgettstown (9-8, 5-0) with 23 points and Paige Klodowski added 12 in a Section 2-2A win. Kamiyah Thompson scored 10 points for Sto-Rox (4-11, 0-4).

Burrell 53, Leechburg 10 – Jules Fisher scored 14 points and Anna Clark, Casey Brancato and McKenna Miller chipped in 11 points each as Burrell (11-3) defeated Leechburg (5-6) in a nonsection matchup.

Chartiers-Houston 65, California 44 – Ella Richey scored 20 points, Ava Capozzoli added 15 and Amelia Brose had 14 to lead Chartiers-Houston (11-4, 7-0) to a Section 4-2A win. Rakiyah Porter led California (7-7, 4-3) with 20 points.

Fort Cherry 71, McGuffey 38 – Raney Staub scored 30 points and Ava Menzies, Kaylee Weinbrenner and Bella Bianchini added 11 points apiece to lead Fort Cherry (10-4) to a nonsection win. Taylor Schumacher led McGuffey (12-3) with 19 points.

Freedom 54, South Side 48 – Shaye Bailey scored 22 points and Olivia Henderson added 18 to push Freedom (7-8, 5-2) to a Section 1-2A win. Bailey Strnisa led South Side (9-7, 3-4) with 11 points and Miladija Pavlovich had 10.

Freeport 62, Valley 14 – Brooke Kmetz scored 15 points and Morgan Croney had 11 for Freeport (7-9, 3-4) in a Section 1-4A win. Ameria Simmons scored seven points for Valley (0-15, 0-7).

Greensburg Central Catholic 66, Ellis School 12 – Erica Gribble scored 22 points to lead Greensburg Central Catholic (11-4, 7-0) past Ellis School (6-9, 1-5) in Section 3-2A. Mya Morgan added 11 and Avery Davis finished with 10 for the Centurions.

Greensburg Salem 61, Derry 29 – Kait Mankins led with 19 points and Ashlan Price added 15 for Greensburg Salem (13-3, 5-2) in a Section 1-4A win. Rachelle Marinchek scored eight points for Derry (4-11, 1-6).

Hampton 49, New Castle 15 – Meghan Murray scored 23 points and Kat Milon added 11 for Hampton (9-6, 5-2) in a Section 2-5A win. Rihanna Boice scored eight points for New Castle (2-14, 0-7).

Keystone Oaks 76, Quaker Valley 28 – Francesca Pacak scored 25 points to lead Keystone Oaks (12-3) to a nonsection win. Bailey Rieg added 16 and Jay Scott had 12 for the Golden Eagles. Madison Chapman and Anna Campbell each scored eight for Quaker Valley (2-12).

McKeesport 62, South Fayette 44 – Kaylee Charles had 23 points, Rachael Manfredo scored 16 and Brooke Evans netted 13 for McKeesport (12-2) in a nonsection win. Juliette Leroux led South Fayette (8-6) with 18 points.

Montour 63, Central Valley 42 – Jordyn Wolfe paced Montour (6-8) with a game-high 23 points in a nonsection win. Nyah Hayes finished with 18 points for Central Valley (5-8).

Moon 64, South Park 39 – Jaedin Griggs led Moon (10-4) with 23 points, Maria Depner added 14 and Jayla Brown had 13 in a nonsection win. Emily Mihelcic and Addy Kerr scored 10 points apiece for South Park (9-5).

North Allegheny 66, Hempfield 46 – Caroline Henderson hit five 3-pointers and scored 19 points to lead North Allegheny (12-1, 4-1) to a Section 1-6A win. Lydia Betz added 14 for the Tigers. Sarah Podkul led Hempfield (7-8, 0-5) with 15 points. Ashley Hosni added 11 and Allie Cervola had 10.

North Catholic 43, Highlands 39 – Brady Wehner scored 18 points and Alayna Rocco added 17 as North Catholic (9-4, 7-0) won a matchup of top teams in Section 1-4A. Shelby Wojcik scored 16 for Highlands (10-5, 5-2).

North Hills 52, Fox Chapel 19 – Gia Minton scored 19 points, Gie Sturdivant had 15 and Delaney Amato added 11 for North Hills (8-7, 5-1) in a Section 2-5A win. Natalia Schaffer scored eight points for Fox Chapel (4-12, 2-5).

Oakland Catholic 66, Latrobe 47 – London Creach scored 23 points and Kaylee DeAngelo added 14 to lead Oakland Catholic (16-0, 7-0) to a Section 3-5A win. Elle Snyder scored 17 points, reaching the 1,000-point mark for her career, for Latrobe (7-9, 3-4). Carley Berk added 13 for the Wildcats.

Serra Catholic 79, Steel Valley 15 – Nikki Sfanos led Serra Catholic (11-3, 5-1) with 15 points, Brianna Battles followed with 14 and Kendalyn Niedermeyer added 10 in a Section 3-2A win. Ava Caiarelli scored eight points for Steel Valley (0-15, 0-7).

St. Joseph 56, Eden Christian 39 – Julie Spinelli scored 19 points, Anna Kreinbrook had 14 and Gia Richter added 11 to lead St. Joseph (13-2) to a nonsection win. Emmie Smith led Eden Christian (8-8) with 15 points and Hannah Wallace had nine.

Thomas Jefferson 49, Albert Gallatin 36 – Lakeyn Flinn had 27 points as Thomas Jefferson (7-9, 4-3) earned a Section 3-5A win. Mya Glisan scored 20 for Albert Gallatin (4-11, 1-6).

Union 62, Ellwood City 34 – Kylie Fruehstorfer led with 23 points, Kelly Cleaver followed with 22 and Bella Cameron added 15 for Union (11-5) in a nonsection win. Kayla Jones scored 18 points for Ellwood City (11-6).

Washington 60, Bentworth 20 – Olivia Woods and Kaprice Johnson scored 17 points apiece to lead Washington (7-7, 6-1) to a Section 4-2A win. Amber Sallee scored six points for Bentworth (3-12, 0-7).

West Allegheny 48, Hopewell 30 – Emma Ruperto and Alexis Santucci scored 13 points apiece to lead West Allegheny (6-9) to a nonsection win. Maya Richburg led Hopewell (7-7) with 11 points.

Woodland Hills 67, Franklin Regional 57 – Jhalynn Wilson scored 20 points, Mylee Young added 18 and Carmen Vazquez chipped in 12 to lead Woodland Hills (6-8, 4-3) to a Section 1-5A win. Olivia Orndorff led Franklin Regional (3-11, 3-4) with 11 points.

Yough 58, Southmoreland 45 – Autumn Matthews hit for 32 points and Brooke Wieland added 10 to power Yough (7-7) to a nonsection win. Olivia Aumer led Southmoreland (1-13) with 19 points.

Allderdice 87, Perry Traditional Academy 17 – Major Rainey scored 23 points and Logan Golle added 21 as Allderdice (10-2, 4-0) defeated Perry (1-10, 0-4) in the City League. Trey Schachter and Ma’ayan Kohai each added 10 points for Allderdice.

Brownsville 51, Jefferson-Morgan 41 – Trenton Wible scored 14 points, Kaden Wimmer followed with 13 and Rylan Johnson added 10 to push Brownsville (5-9) to a nonsection win. John Woodward led Jefferson-Morgan (9-6) with 11 points.

Butler 64, Pine-Richland 47 – Donovan Carney scored 17 points and Lucas Tayt added 16 to lead Butler (10-2, 3-1) to a Section 1-6A win. Zach Kenny scored 10 points for Pine-Richland (6-7, 2-3).

California 73, Bentworth 67 – Vinny Manzella scored 20 points, Jacob Ziolecki followed with 18, Noah Neil had 15 and Caden Monticel added 12 to push California (4-11) to a nonsection win. Ben Hays led Bentworth (3-10) with 26 points and Lucas Burt had 17.

Cheswick Christian Academy 53, Geibel 45 – Sean Louis had 22 points and Grant Rochkind had a double-double with 18 points and a dozen rebounds for Cheswick Christian in a nonsection win. Brady Rochkind added 11 points for the Chargers. Gary Tarbuk and John Hess had 12 points apiece for Geibel.

Derry 75, Valley 44 – Nate Papuga scored 32 points to lead Derry (8-4, 3-3) to a Section 3-3A win. Stanley Rajkocich added 16 and Brady Angus had 10 for the Trojans. Mickael Allen and Jacob Staraniec scored 14 and Keyziyah Clay had 10 for Valley (4-8, 2-3).

Indiana 53, Freeport 44 – Jaden Petrovich scored 13 points to push Indiana (6-7, 1-3) to a Section 1-4A win. Brady Sullivan scored 15 points for Freeport (3-11, 0-4).

North Catholic 101, Ambridge 51 – Max Hurray led North Catholic (10-5, 6-1) with 31 points, Wills Kontul followed with 15 and Owen Maddalon added 13 in a Section 2-4A win. Jared Astorino scored 17 points and Adam Fernandez had 14 for Ambridge (6-10, 3-3).

Seneca Valley 73, Blackhawk 59 – Kai West led Seneca Valley (5-11) with 28 points and Tyler Pepin added 15 in a nonsection win. Justin Shanor scored 21 points and Nate Franitti had 16 for Blackhawk (4-11).

South Allegheny 79, East Allegheny 39 – Drew Cook scored 20 points, Jeston Beatty had 18 and Cam Epps added 17 to lead South Allegheny (10-4, 2-3) to a Section 4-4A win. Ethan Anderson led East Allegheny (3-12, 0-5) with 16 points and Brennan Ruttledge had 10.

South Park 61, Steel Valley 45 – Luke Scarff scored 22 points, Danny Batista added 16 and Cooper Hochondoner had 13 to lead South Park (9-6, 3-3) to a Section 2-3A win. Nate Yuhas led Steel Valley (0-13, 0-5) with 19 points and Nahjir Norris had 10.

Southmoreland 83, Albert Gallatin 63 – Noah Felentzer led with 27 points, Ty Keffer followed with 24 and Elliot Premus added 14 to push Southmoreland (13-2, 3-1) to a Section 3-4A win. Blake White scored 25 points and Mykel Belt had 17 for Albert Gallatin (6-6, 2-2).

Springdale 60, Leechburg 30 – Mason Gent led with 16 points and Robby Simmen added 12 for Springdale (10-5, 2-4) in a Section 3-2A win. Jayden Floyd scored 16 points for Leechburg (2-12, 0-5).

Thomas Jefferson 91, Connellsville 27 – Evan Berger and Noah Prosser scored 15 points apiece and Joey Mendyk had 12 for Thomas Jefferson (11-2, 5-0) in a Section 1-5A win over Connellsville (2-13, 1-4).

Union 79, Avella 57 – Lucas Stanley had 24 points and Braylon Thomas scored 19 for Union (7-9, 4-1) in a Section 1-A win. Westley Burchianti led Avella (8-8, 3-2) with 19 points and Bryce Wright added 17.

Avonworth 7, Beaver 3 – Conner Ralston scored twice to lead a balanced effort from Avonworth (13-2) in a Class A win. Jack Dolan, Baylor Kirsch, Jake Seifarth, Austin Dzadovsky and Randy Bevan added a goal each for the Antelopes. Gave Forney scored twice for Beaver (6-7-2).

Bethel Park 2, Upper St. Clair 1 – Will Alborg scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period to lead Bethel Park (9-4-1) to a Class 3A win. Mason Devett-Raeder also scored and Kevin Teamann made 25 saves for Bethel Park. Connor McQuade scored for Upper St. Clair (7-3-3).

Bishop Canevin 2, Neshannock 1 – Bishop Canevin (13-0) won in a shootout to maintain its perfect record in Division 2. Ryan Saginaw scored for the Crusaders and Ayden Worstell made 21 saves. Trip Johns stopped 33 shots for Neshannock (10-2-1) and Gio Valentine scored.

Chartiers Valley 3, Wheeling Park 2 – Noah Callender had a pair of goals to help Chartiers Valley (14-0) keep its perfect record intact in a Class A win over Wheeling Park (14-4).

Elizabeth Forward 6, Carrick 5 – Joey Wach tied the game with less than a minute remaining and Riley Wright scored 53 seconds into overtime as Elizabeth Forward (6-5) rallied to stun Carrick (8-4-2) in a Division 2 win. Wright and Wach had two goals each. Ivan Manculich scored twice for Carrick.

Fox Chapel 10, Penn-Trafford 7 – Tucker Cullen had a seven-point night with five goals and an assist and Nate Sarra had a hat trick and added an assist for Fox Chapel (9-5-1) in a Class 2A win. Liam Wiseman had a goal and two assists and Dom Casile recorded three assists. Aiden Drotos scored four goals for Penn-Trafford (6-6-2). Bryce Kopczynski added a goal and three assists.

Freeport 8, Westmont Hilltop 1 – Aiden Bauman and Jacob Miller contributed a pair of goals and an assist to help Freeport (4-8-4) top Westmont Hilltop (0-16) in Class A. Liam McKivigan, Bantam Semanko, Jack Crawford and Landen Kozma also scored for the Yellowjackets.

Latrobe 4, Franklin Regional 0 – Cam Mikulsky, Jackson Heyburn, Joey Crimboli and Nigel Morris scored to lead Latrobe (11-4) past Franklin Regional (9-5-2) in Class 2A.

Mars 8, Montour 6 – Xavier Bossola had two goals and an assist and Ben Olshenske also scored twice for Mars (10-4) in a Class A win. Jack Weaver added a goal and an assist. Hunter Fiedler scored four goals for Montour (5-11-1). Aiden Moskovitz added a goal and two assists.

Morgantown 12, Trinity 2 – John Dibartolomeo, Brayden Hellen and Ayden Shepard scored twice each and Morgantown (10-4) cruised to a Division 2 win. Brody Woods and Seamus Coyle had a goal for Trinity (1-11).

Mt. Lebanon 2, Canon-McMillan 1 – Xavier Bias and Connor Ribstein scored first-period goals and Quinn Lynam made 21 saves to lead Mt. Lebanon (9-4-1) to a Class 3A win. Braydon Phillips scored for Canon-McMillan (1-13).

Plum 4, Richland 3 – Rylan Schoonover scored in the third period to tie it and Plum (8-6-1) went on to take the shootout and earn a Class A win. Brody Howell and Colby Bartos added a goal apiece for the Mustangs and Noah Lander made 31 saves in goal. Connor Bethmann, Brady Rex and Mitch Timcik had a goal each for Richland (4-10-1).

Pine-Richland 8, Baldwin 1 – Cullen Campbell had two goals and an assist and Zachary Howard handed out five assists to lead Pine-Richland (9-4-1) to a Class 3A win. Josh Lanyard collected a goal and an assist and Douglas Van Meter added a goal and an assist. Nate Buys scored for Baldwin (1-10-2).

Quaker Valley 11, Kiski 1 – Jace Vasbinder had a hat trick and added an assist and Max Modrovich and Charlie D’Antonio each added a goal and two assists to lead Quaker Valley (12-0-1) in Class A. Ben McHenry had a goal and an assist and Charlie Pyle dished out three assists. Ethan Bombalski scored for Kiski (0-16).

Ringgold 13, Knoch 4 – Brady Lippert had two goals and four assists and Matt Sylvester added a pair of goals and three assists as Ringgold (8-4-2) cruised to victory in Division 2. Synjun McHattie scored twice for Knoch (3-10).

Shaler 8, Greensburg Salem 1 – Jacob Kunc had two goals and three assists and Brendan Fitzgerald dished out four assists as Shaler (11-3-1) won in Class A. Luca Wallander added a goal and an assist for Shaler. Chase Kushner scored for Greensburg Salem (8-5-2).

South Fayette 7, Hempfield 1 – Robert Chiappetta had three goals and two assists, Tyler Bradebura scored twice, and Nathaniel Keller and Mikhail Lobanov each recorded a goal and three assists to power South Fayette (10-1-2) in a Class 2A win. Nino Dipietro scored for Hempfield (6-8-1).
