As we wind down to the final full week of January, the elite boys basketball teams across the state continue to rack up victories.

However, there was some movement in the weekly Trib HSSN boys basketball rankings, especially in Class 5A.

Four teams were bounced from the rankings this past week, with half of them coming in 5A.

Gateway lost once and Manheim Central dropped two games, forcing the Gators and Barons to slide out and opening the door for Hershey and Unionville.

A pair of District 12 teams also dropped out: Archbishop Carroll in 4A and West Catholic in 3A. That opened up spots for Berks Catholic and Troy to enter the top 5.

There was also movement at the top in Class 6A as Roman Catholic lost to Father Judge, slipping a spot to No. 2 and allowing Lower Merion to leapfrog to No. 1.

The other top-ranked teams remained in place with Imhotep Charter in 5A, Neumann-Goretti in 4A, Bishop Guilfoyle in 3A, Constitution in 2A and Imani Christian in A still at No. 1.
