Pick a word, any word: ideal, flawless, absolute, model, complete, perfect.

Any of those descriptive words work when talking about the current class of Trib 10 teams.

As the district playoffs began, the top teams flexed their muscles and avoided bracket-busters as the 10 boys and 10 girls teams were undefeated this past week.

Thus, there were no changes in the power rankings through the end of the first round and the start of the quarterfinals.

That’s likely about to change with some head-to-head matchups coming up.

No changes anywhere of course means no changes at the top as Lincoln Park remains No. 1 on the boys side and undefeated Oakland Catholic once again tops the girls power rankings.

Here are the latest Trib 10 basketball power rankings with overall record and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
