There were four teams that dropped, including three significant changes to the weekly Trib HSSN girls basketball state rankings, as the district playoffs enter their final week.

District 6 power Bishop McCort was upset in the D-6 quarterfinals and dropped out from the No. 2 spot, replaced by Marian Catholic from District 11.

The drops in 6A and 5A were even further as previously top-ranked teams Upper Dublin in 6A and Oakland Catholic in 5A lost in the District 1 quarterfinals and the WPIAL semifinals respectively and fell out of the Top 5 completely, replaced by Archbishop Carroll in 6A and Malvern Villa Maria Academy in 5A.

Palmerton in Class 3A was the other Top 5 team to drop out in the final week of February.
