A GoFundMe page is set up for the family of Josiah Pastories, a Norwin graduate and former football player and wrestler who was killed in a one-vehicle accident Thursday morning in northern Butler County.

Donations can be made here.

Pastories, who was 19, was traveling to his welding job when the accident occured.

He was headed north on Kittanning Pike when he lost control of his Nissan SUV and crossed into the southbound lanes as he came to a right curve. He drove down a slope and hit a tree.

Pastories, known for having a passion for welding and for telling humorous stories in the locker room, graduated last year.

His brother, Justice, organized the donations page, which had raised over $7,500 Friday afternoon. He said money raised will help cover funeral expenses.

Josiah Pastories was a 6-foot, 287-pound two-way lineman when he played football for the Knights. He wrestled at 285 pounds.

The Norwin football program issued a statement saying, “With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of our beloved Norwin Football class of 2023 alum, Josiah Pastories. His passion, dedication, and spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in Peace, #72.”
