Son of Shenango football coach dies

DJ Graham, the son of Shenango football coach Jimmy Graham, died Tuesday, two days after his 17th birthday.

Shenango’s scheduled football game at Ellwood City on Friday night has been canceled.

DJ Graham was not a member of the football team, but he played baseball and was on the golf team at Shenango. He was also an accomplished fisherman.

He is survived by parents Jimmy and Sarah Graham and siblings Julia, Elizabeth and Evan Graham.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory in New Castle. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at City Church in New Castle.
