The shuffling in and out on a weekly basis is now complete as the PIAA playoffs prepare for state semifinals weekend.

The final four teams in each classification playing for state gold are set, as are the final five teams in each class.

There were no comings and goings in the two highest classifications from last week, while one team entered and exited in 4A, 3A and A.

Class 2A was the lone exception as three ranked teams lost, opening the door for two teams not ranked but still alive in the PIAA final four.

There were zero changes at the top in each class as St. Joe’s Prep in 6A, Bishop McDevitt in 5A, Lampeter-Strasburg in 4A, Northwestern Lehigh in 3A, Troy in 2A and Fort Cherry in Class A were quarterfinal winners and are two wins from remaining No. 1 in the final 2024 rankings in two weeks.

There are two state semifinal matchups Friday pitting No. 1 vs. No. 2. That will happen in 5A between Bishop McDevitt and Pine-Richland and in 3A between Northwestern Lehigh and Danville.

Here are the latest Trib HSSN rankings. Teams are listed with overall record, last week’s ranking and district.

Class 6A

1. St. Joseph’s Prep (9-2) (1) (D-12): The defending PIAA 6A champion Hawks defeated Parkland in Week 13, 46-7. They play No. 4 Downingtown West in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

2. Central Catholic (11-2) (2) (D-7): The Vikings defeated State College in Week 13, 41-19. They play No. 3 Harrisburg in a PIAA semifinal Saturday.

3. Harrisburg (11-2) (4) (D-3): The Cougars defeated No. 5 West Lawn Wilson in Week 13, 42-14. They play No. 2 Central Catholic in a PIAA semifinal Saturday.

4. Downingtown West (13-1) (5) (D-1): The Whippets defeated North Penn in Week 13, 35-16. They play No. 1 St. Joseph’s Prep in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

5. West Lawn Wilson (11-2) (3) (D-3): The Bulldogs lost to Harrisburg in Week 13, 42-14. Their season is over.

Class 5A

1. Bishop McDevitt (12-2) (1) (D-3): The Crusaders defeated Exeter Township in Week 13, 48-14. They play No. 2 Pine-Richland in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

2. Pine-Richland (11-1) (2) (D-7): The Rams defeated No. 5 Peters Township in Week 13, 20-9. They play No. 1 Bishop McDevitt in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

3. Roman Catholic (10-4) (3) (D-12): The Cahillites defeated Hollidaysburg in Week 13, 48-14. They play No. 4 West Chester Rustin in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

4. West Chester Rustin (13-1) (5) (D-1): The Golden Knights defeated Springfield-Delco in Week 13, 34-2. They play No. 3 Roman Catholic in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

5. Peters Township (11-2) (4) (D-7): The Indians lost to No. 2 Pine-Richland in Week 13, 20-9. Their season is over.

Class 4A

1. Lampeter-Strasburg (13-0) (1) (D-3): The Pioneers defeated Wyomissing in Week 13, 30-27 in overtime. They play No. 3 Thomas Jefferson in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

2. Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast (10-2) (2) (D-12): The Friars defeated No. 5 Pope John Paul II in Week 13, 35-7. They play No. 4 Southern Lehigh in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

3. Thomas Jefferson (14-0) (3) (D-7): The Jaguars defeated Clearfield in Week 13, 35-0. They play No. 1 Lampeter-Strasburg in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

4. Southern Lehigh (12-2) (NR) (D-11): The Spartans defeated Juniata in Week 13, 45-7. They play No. 2 Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

5. Pope John Paul II (12-2) (5) (D-1): The Golden Panthers lost to Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast in Week 13, 35-7. Their season is over.

3. Penn Cambria (14-0) (3) (D-6): The Panthers defeated Hickory in Week 13, 30-7. They play No. 4 Avonworth in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

4. Avonworth (11-3) (NR) (D-7): The Antelopes defeated Central Valley in Week 13, 17-0. They play No. 3 Penn Cambria in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

5. Scranton Prep (12-2) (4) (D-2): The Cavaliers lost to No. 1 Northwestern Lehigh in Week 13, 34-0. Their season is over.

3. South Park (12-1) (NR) (D-7): The Eagles defeated Seton LaSalle in Week 13, 21-14. They play No. 2 Central Clarion in a PIAA semifinal Friday.

4. Taylor Riverside (13-1) (NR) (D-2): The Vikings defeated Williams Valley in Week 13, 28-21. They play No. 1 Troy in a PIAA semifinal Friday.
