2016 WPIAL TEAM WRESTLING PLAYOFFS

The 2016 WPIAL Team Wrestling Playoffs are now set with the 20 teams in Class AAA and 15 teams in Class AA now knowing they path they need to take to district gold in the one week postseason which starts on Monday, February 1st. In Class AAA, Franklin Regional is the two-time defending champion, but the Panthers will have to win from the 4th-seed and go through top-seed Belle Vernon to Three-peat. In Class AA, will one of the great WPIAL dynasties continue as top-seed Burrell tries to add to their record with a TENTH straight Class AA district crown? Here are the Preliminary Round matches in Class AAA set for Monday and the First Round matchups in both classes on Wednesday.
