2013 was a break through year for the West Mifflin Titan softball program.  The Titans compiled a 17-6 record, won a share of the section title, and were WPIAL Semi-finalists.  The playoffs birth was the first in 15 years and the section title was the first in 18 years.

Although hit hard by the graduation for 4, four year starters, the Titans return a solid core for 2014.  Leading the team will be two four year starters- Senior Pitcher Paige Flore and Senior Pitcher/first baseman Crystal Cook.  Along with Flore and Cook are the following returning starters:

Catcher- Alyssa Cairns

LF- Shannon Davis

CF- Chelsea Hess

2B- Lauren Ackerman

Top newcomers are Senior Brooke Lowe, Junior Kacey Larson, Junior Taylor Lapko and Sophomore Amber Cook.

The Titans compete in the tough AAA section 3 which includes Elizabeth Forward, Southmoreland, South Park, Yough, Belle Vernon, and Thomas Jefferson.
