WPIAL Wrestling Realignment for 2013 and 2014

The WPIAL Board of Control Tuesday approved the new alignment for WPIAL wrestling sections for the 2012-2013 and the 2013-2014 seasons. The League has retained the "sub-section" format for the regular season. In Class AAA there are four sections while in Class AA there are still three sections.

Some of the changes include Blackhawk and Central Valley moving up from Class AA to Class AAA. Steel Valley dropping out, but both North Catholic and Mapletown adding teams.

Bold schools are teams that moved and are in a new sub-section compared to the current cycle.
