2010 Turns Out to be Year of the Tigers in WPIAL Field Hockey

When it comes to WPIAL Girls Field Hockey Playoffs, 2010 turned out to be the Year of the Tigers. Both the North Allegheny Tigers in Class AAA and the Ellis School Tigers in Class AA captured district gold Monday night with victories at Fox Chapel High School. Here are the short but sweet results from the two round playoffs in both classifications.

2010 WPIAL CLASS AAA CHAMPIONSHIP:

North Allegheny Tigers 2 – Fox Chapel Foxes 1 in Overtime (MSA)

WPIAL CLASS AAA Semifinals:

North Allegheny Tigers 5 – Peters Township Indians 1 (MSA)

Fox Chapel Foxes 3 – Norwin Knights 0
