High school roundup: OLSH, Burgettstown earn victories

Richard Banks scored three times to lift OLSH to a 48-18 win over Cornell (0-5, 0-4) in the Class A Big Seven Conference.

Banks, who ran for 110 yards, scored on a 60-yard run, 18-yard run and a 46-yard pass from Tyler Bradley.

Bradley, who completed 13 of 21 passes for 208 yards, also threw a touchdown pass to Sig Saffner.

Jack Graff scored on a 25-yard interception return and a 1-yard run.

Andrew Schwarre also scored on a 33-yard interception return for OLSH (4-2, 3-1).

Zaier Harrison threw for 196 yards for Cornell.

Burgettstown 45, Brownsville 0 — Ryan Lounder threw for one touchdown and ran for another as Burgettstown (5-0, 3-0) blanked Brownsville (1-5, 1-3) in the Class AA Century Conference and clinched a WPIAL playoff berth. Josh Noce scored on a 55-yard interception return for Burgettstown, which led at halftime, 38-0. For the season, Burgettstown has outscored its opposition 226-9.
