High school roundup: Upper St. Clair girls shut out No. 3 Canon-McMillan

Marissa Krenn's corner kick was headed in by Lexi Wehrle to give Upper St. Clair a 1-0 victory over No. 3 Canon-McMillan in a Section 2-AAAA girls soccer game Monday night in Canonsburg.

Peters Township 4, Baldwin 0 — Nico Gill, Regan LaVigna, Kaila McFerran and Hannah Stuck scored as No. 1 Peters Township (11-1, 5-1) won in Section 2-AAAA.

South Park 9, Obama Academy 0 — Haleigh Finale had four goals, as No. 2 South Park (8-2-1, 7-1) won in Section 3-AAA.

Thomas Jefferson 4, Ringgold 1 — Bella Sestito had two goals and an assist and Lia Manning and Gel Campano each scored and had an assist as No. 4 Thomas Jefferson (10-1, 8-1) won in Section 3-AAA.

Montour 3, South Fayette 0 — Samantha White, Julia Mooney and Stefani Fotovich scored to pace Montour (7-4, 6-3) in a Section 4-AAA game.

Bentworth 12, Geibel 1 — Paige Marshslek and Jocelyn Timlin each scored four times as No. 4 Bentworth (7-3-1, 6-1-1) won in Section 2-A.

Quaker Valley 6, Sewickley Academy 1 — Katherine Blaugrund scored three times as Quaker Valley (7-4-1) won a nonsection game over Class A No. 5 Sewickley Academy (7-2-2).

Boys soccer

Thomas Jefferson 1, Keystone Oaks 0 — Preston Lutz scored the lone goal Thomas Jefferson (5-5-2) defeated Class AA No. 3 Keystone Oaks (10-2) in a nonsection game.
