Pittsburgh high school roundup: North Allegheny boys shut out Butler

Cameron Yurick scored twice, and Johnny Ross added a goal as No. 2-ranked North Allegheny edged blanked rival Butler, 3-0, in a Section 1-AAAA boys soccer game Thursday night.
Josh Luchini had two assists for the Tigers (12-2-1, 8-0-1), who are 9-0-1 since losing back to back games to Bethel Park and Peters Township in early September.
Butler (9-4, 6-3) has lost just two games in its past seven.
Central Catholic 2, Brashear 1 — Dan Schearer and Hayden Brook scored as No. 3 Central Catholic (9-2-2) won in Section 3-AAAA. Deepan Magar scored for Brashear (5-9, 3-7).
Keystone Oaks 5, South Allegheny 1 — Nate Taylor scored four times as No. 3 Keystone Oaks (11-3, 8-2) earned a Section 1-AA victory.
Waynesburg 10, Washington 1 — Gavin Benson and Blake Brewer each had three goals to lift Waynesburg (9-4, 8-2) to a Section 3-AA win.
Bentworth 3, Bishop Canevin 1 — Wyatt Selvoski scored twice and Jacob Davis added a goal for Bentworth (11-4, 9-3) in a Section 4-A win.
Seton LaSalle 9, Beth-Center 0 — Darryl Daniels scored six goals and had an assist as No. 1 Seton LaSalle (12-1-1, 10-1-1) captured a Section 4-A shutout. Kellen Krebs, Zach Wells and Gabe Rosario also scored, and Sam Reinhart notched the shutout.
Girls soccer
Mars 2, Gateway 0 — Maggie Williams scored twice and Claire Valentine posted the shutout as No. 3 Mars (11-1, 8-0) won a Section 1-AAA game.
