Upper St. Clair upset No. 1 West Allegheny in dramatic fashion on Friday thanks to an interception by senior Tom Kyle during a 2-point conversion attempt in overtime.

Kyle said he thought West Allegheny's Mateo Vandamia was going to try to run the conversion in himself, but noticed the quarterback pull back to pass.

“He tried to throw the ball and I was right there for it,” Kyle said.
