Alexa Williamson scored 24 points to carry No. 1 Chartiers-Houston to a 47-40 victory over No. 3 OLSH in a Section 1-2A girls basketball game Thursday night.

Keaira Walker added 10 points for the Bucs (2-1, 1-0).

Ashley Norling had 11 points for OLSH (2-1, 0-1).

Mt. Lebanon 47, Baldwin 38 — Haley Sabol had 12 points to lead No. 5 Mt. Lebanon (2-2, 1-0) in a Section 3-6A win. Abbey Larkin scored 17 for Baldwin (1-3, 0-1).

Trinity 60, Connellsville 44 — In Section 3-5A, Riley DeRubbio scored 18 points to guide Trinity (3-1, 1-0) to a victory.

Blackhawk 58, Ambridge 49 — Mady Aulbach scored 20 points and Mackenzie Amalia tallied 17 as No. 2-ranked Blackhawk (3-0, 1-0) won a Section 2-4A game. Aniya Walker scored 20 points for Ambridge (3-2, 1-1).

Quaker Valley 40, New Castle 34 — Corrine Washington scored 22 points as Quaker Valley (2-2, 1-0) won in Section 2-4A.

Elizabeth Forward 68, South Park 58 — Bri Spirnak had 29 points to lift Elizabeth Forward (3-2, 1-0) to a Section 3-4A victory. Cassidy Zandier had 19 points for South Park (1-3, 0-1).

Neshannock 67, Beaver Falls 36 — Ally Zarilla had 30 points to guide No. 2 Neshannock (4-0, 1-0) to a Section 1-3A victory.

Bishop Canevin 72, Shady Side Academy 38 — Bri Allen tallied 22 points as No. 1 Bishop Canevin (2-1, 1-0) won in Section 3-3A.

Seton LaSalle 60, Steel Valley 49 — Layni Ziegler had 15 points to lead Seton LaSalle (3-1, 1-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Morgan Farrah had 27 points, including four 3-pointers, for Steel Valley (1-4, 0-1).

Fort Cherry 36, Aliquippa 34 — McKenzie Faure hit a 3-pointer with 12 seconds left to lift Fort Cherry (3-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-2A win. Abby Cooper had 15 points for the Rangers.

Serra Catholic 60, California 57 — Gigi Mele-Madigan scored 23 points as Serra Catholic (2-2, 1-0) won a Section 3-2A contest.

Central Valley 63, Rochester 46 — Christiane Frye had 20 points for Central Valley (3-0) in a nonsection victory.

Eden Christian Academy 53, Union 49 — Haylee Fleischman had 21 points as Eden Christian (1-3) won a nonsection game.

Peters Township 53, Chartiers Valley 43 — Mackenna Marisa had 21 points to lead Class 6A No. 4 Peters Township (4-0) to a nonsection win over Class 5A No. 1 Chartiers Valley (2-2). Mackenzie Wagner had 20 points and Megan McConnell added 17 for the Colts.

West Allegheny 78, Seneca Valley 35 — Grace Faulk scored 18 points and Hannah Lindemuth had 17 as West Allegheny (3-1) won a nonsection game.

Boys basketball

McGuffey 46, Carlynton 43 — Sparked by a 13-4 start and 18 points by CJ Cole, McGuffey (3-1) won a nonsection game.
