The North Allegheny boys volleyball team owns the top spot for Class AAA in the Western Pennsylvania Boys Volleyball Coaches Association Week 3 poll released Monday.

All 40 boys high school volleyball coaches voted to determine the top 10 in each classification.

The Tigers opened Section 2-AAA play last week with wins over Shaler, 3-0, and Pine-Richland, 3-0.

Seneca Valley comes in ranked No. 2 in AAA. The Raiders won a marquee nonsection matchup last week 3-0 over Class AA No. 1 Ambridge.

Penn-Trafford is No. 3 in AAA, followed by Butler and Bethel Park.

Rounding out the top 10 is Hempfield, Latrobe, Pine-Richland, Norwin and Shaler.

The only change in Class AA has OLSH tick up one spot to No. 8, while Thomas Jefferson slips one spot to No. 9.

Section rivals Deer Lakes and Derry are No. 2 and 3, respectively, again this week, while Montour (fourth), Seton LaSalle (fifth), Beaver County Christian (sixth) and Bishop Canevin (seven) occupy space in the top 10.

Obama Academy rounds out the Class AA top 10 standings at No. 10 for the second week in a row.
