Franklin Regional names Anthony Kobus girls basketball coach

Franklin Regional named Anthony Kobus as its girls basketball coach.

Kobus most recently was an assistant with the Penn-Trafford boys and coached the Warriors’ JV team.

Has been coaching football/basketball in some capacity, and at varius levels, at Franklin Regional for about a decade. He is a former head football coach at Saltsburg and is a teacher at Penn Hills.

Kobus replaces Courtney Callas, who resigned after three seasons.
